568-025 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-025 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.176 in (29.87 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.316 in (33.43 mm), catalogued under part number TES70025. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
