568-026 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

The SV70026 is an AS568-026 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.239 in (31.47 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.379 in (35.03 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.
