568-027 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

The SV70027 is an AS568-027 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
