568-027 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70027 is an AS568-027 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or ketones are present.

Common environments for this compound include automotive air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
