568-029 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

APG stocks the HS70029, an AS568-029 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.489 in (37.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.629 in (41.38 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to sour gas and amine inhibitors, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
