This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-037 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile built to an inside diameter of 2.489 in (63.22 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.629 in (66.78 mm), catalogued under part number SV70037. It provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.
