-038 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75038 is an AS568-038 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.614 in (66.4 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.754 in (69.95 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.
