The VB90039 is an AS568-039 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.739 in (69.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.879 in (73.13 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.

Typical settings include aerospace, chemical processing, and automotive fuel systems.
