This o-ring is supplied in AS568-039 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 2.739 in (69.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.879 in (73.13 mm), catalogued under part number HS70039. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones will shorten service life.
