568-041 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

Part number SV70041 is an AS568-041 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.989 in (75.92 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.129 in (79.48 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
