568-041 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70041 is an AS568-041 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.989 in (75.92 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.129 in (79.48 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. This material stands up to modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in oilfield and downhole equipment, engine timing systems, and heavy-duty powertrain.
