-042 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

The E80PC042 is an AS568-042 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to brake fluid, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is known for good electrical insulating characteristics, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).

Typical settings include brake and phosphate ester systems, potable water applications, and water and steam systems.
