568-042 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the HSN90042, an AS568-042 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service.

It sees regular use in oilfield and downhole equipment, commercial refrigeration, and automotive air conditioning.
