568-042 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

The U90042 is an AS568-042 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to extrusion under high pressure, abrasion and wear, and impact and shock loading. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or ketones are present.

Common environments for this compound include off-highway equipment, hydraulic cylinders, and construction machinery.
