Part number VB90044 is an AS568-044 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.739 in (94.97 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.879 in (98.53 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
