The H50044 is an AS568-044 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.739 in (94.97 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.879 in (98.53 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
