568-044 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70044 is an AS568-044 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.739 in (94.97 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.879 in (98.53 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

It resists nearly all process chemicals, wide temperature swings, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, and food and beverage processing.
