-045 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as VB90045, this is an AS568-045 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.989 in (101.32 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.129 in (104.88 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and aerospace.
