The SV70045 is an AS568-045 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.989 in (101.32 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.129 in (104.88 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include chemical processing, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
