568-046 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-046 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 4.239 in (107.67 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.379 in (111.23 mm), catalogued under part number HS70046. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The material holds up against modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or ketones are present.

It sees regular use in oilfield and downhole equipment, automotive air conditioning, and heavy-duty powertrain.
