568-048 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70048 is an AS568-048 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.739 in (120.37 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.879 in (123.93 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. The material holds up against wide temperature swings, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Typical settings include chemical processing, food and beverage processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
