U70048 is an AS568-048 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.739 in (120.37 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.879 in (123.93 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers exceptional abrasion resistance and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. Expect good resistance to impact and shock loading, abrasion and wear, and petroleum oils. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Applications involving acids and bases or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
