568-049 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and strong resistance to permeation. It resists wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
