568-049 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the HSN90049, an AS568-049 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.989 in (126.72 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.129 in (130.28 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to esters or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
