H50050 is an AS568-050 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.239 in (133.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.379 in (136.63 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Expect good resistance to many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight.
