Ordered as SH70050, this is an AS568-050 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.239 in (133.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.379 in (136.63 mm). The quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with ozone and direct sunlight or ketones.
