Ordered as HSN90050, this is an AS568-050 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.239 in (133.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.379 in (136.63 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C).

Typical settings include engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
