568-050 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70050, an AS568-050 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.239 in (133.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.379 in (136.63 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and ozone. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) delivers exceptional abrasion resistance and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or acids and bases call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-pressure fluid power, construction machinery, and press and forming equipment.
