The U90050 is an AS568-050 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.239 in (133.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.379 in (136.63 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and exceptional abrasion resistance. This material stands up to petroleum oils, extrusion under high pressure, and impact and shock loading. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones or acids and bases.

It sees regular use in hydraulic cylinders, press and forming equipment, and construction machinery.
