Part number HSN90104 is an AS568-104 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.112 in (2.84 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.318 in (8.08 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to sour gas and amine inhibitors, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, commercial refrigeration, and heavy-duty powertrain.
