Ordered as TEV80108, this is an AS568-108 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.237 in (6.02 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.443 in (11.25 mm). The o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists steam, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
