568-111 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70111, an AS568-111 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.424 in (10.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.63 in (16 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. This material stands up to wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
