Ordered as VITON75113, this is an AS568-113 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.549 in (13.94 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.755 in (19.18 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
