568-116 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

SV70116 is an AS568-116 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.737 in (18.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.943 in (23.95 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.

Typical settings include oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
