This o-ring is supplied in AS568-118 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.862 in (21.89 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.068 in (27.13 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90118. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
