HSN90121 is an AS568-121 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.049 in (26.64 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.255 in (31.88 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. This material stands up to heat and oxidation, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, commercial refrigeration, and heavy-duty powertrain.
