SV70122 is an AS568-122 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.112 in (28.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.318 in (33.48 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
