Ordered as VITON75127, this is an AS568-127 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.424 in (36.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.63 in (41.4 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.
