This o-ring is supplied in AS568-127 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.424 in (36.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.63 in (41.4 mm), catalogued under part number H50127. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for low compression set under sustained load and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Expect good resistance to many alcohols, propane and butane, and water. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or automotive brake fluid are present.

Typical settings include automotive, agricultural equipment, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
