568-128 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70128 is an AS568-128 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.487 in (37.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.693 in (43 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or esters are present.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, automotive air conditioning, and engine timing systems.
