Part number SV70129 is an AS568-129 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.549 in (39.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.755 in (44.58 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
