This o-ring is supplied in AS568-137 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 2.05 in (52.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.256 in (57.3 mm), catalogued under part number HS70137. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in esters or strong oxidizing acids.
