568-139 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90139 is an AS568-139 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.175 in (55.25 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.381 in (60.48 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, automotive air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration.
