This o-ring is supplied in AS568-140 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 2.237 in (56.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.443 in (62.05 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75140. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.
