Part number SV70140 is an AS568-140 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.237 in (56.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.443 in (62.05 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
