This o-ring is supplied in AS568-140 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 2.237 in (56.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.443 in (62.05 mm), catalogued under part number HS70140. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, heat and oxidation, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or esters will shorten service life.
