This o-ring is supplied in AS568-140 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 2.237 in (56.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.443 in (62.05 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90140. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, oilfield and downhole equipment, and engine timing systems.
