*568-143 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Ordered as TES70143, this is an AS568-143 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.425 in (61.6 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.631 in (66.83 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The material holds up against steam, nearly all process chemicals, and wide temperature swings. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
