APG stocks the HSN90143, an AS568-143 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.425 in (61.6 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.631 in (66.83 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and heavy-duty powertrain.
