Ordered as U90143, this is an AS568-143 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.425 in (61.6 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.631 in (66.83 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists extrusion under high pressure, abrasion and wear, and petroleum oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for very high tensile strength and load capacity, long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
